David I. A. Mason is the author of four self-care children's books with accompanying sing-along music. In his spare time you'll find him playing the drums, snowboarding or reading.
He currently lives in the mountains of Colorado with his wife, two young daughters, and the occasional bear who comes in for a cup of hot cocoa by the fire.

From an early age, Simon Kono has been scribbling into existence the contents of his imagination, which is often chock full of spaceships, robots, and creatures of all varieties. This has become a lifelong adventure for him - one which brought him from the peaceful and verdant fields of his home state of Vermont to the hustle and bustle of New York City, where he eventually found himself creating imaginary worlds for video games. Some notable titles he designed artwork for include U.B. Funkeys, an award winning interactive children’s game, and more recently, indie hit Mushroom 11, an Apple Design Award recipient among others. Gus in the Big City marks Simon’s first foray into the world of Children’s book illustration. Simon now lives in Seattle with his wife and their not-so-little cat, Little.
