I live in Maple Valley Washington with my husband and three children. I developed an appreciation for the adventure of a good imagination at a early age. My mother brought car trips and camping nights to life with stories of wood sprites, changeling, selkies and trolls. These creative adventures of imagination fueled the development of an inquisitive mind. Literature became a friend. I furthered this interest with the study of literature, creative writing and art in college. However, motherhood is what gave my desire to write a form. My children are very involved in the development of the plots and experiences of my characters and often pose for my sketches. It gives me joy to share with my children what my mother did with me. I hope my my stories carry that sense of family connection and spark young developing minds to look for the fantastic in life.
