Christy is an illustrator and cartoonist. She likes to add humor and fun into everything she draws and paints…but being an artist wasn’t always the plan. When Christy first started college, her goal was to be an accountant. One art elective and a hot dog animation was all it took to catch the art bug. What started in numbers ended in colors and she could not be happier. Christy has illustrated stories for the Nikela Wildlife Organization in an effort to help save rhinos in South Africa. Her work has also been published in the macabre magazine Underneath the Juniper Tree and in promotional publications for Common Deer Press that involved a boy, a dinosaur, and poop. When she isn’t drawing or painting, Christy can be found playing video games with her sons, spoiling a couple of ginger tabbies, or teaching herself to crotchet.
